Jeremy Leggett

His first book "The Carbon War" has been described by the Sunday Times as "the best book yet on the politics of global warming." and his second book "Half Gone" previews the looming global energy crises, whilst signposting a safe exit opportunity. He is a director of the world's first private equity renewable energy fund, Bank Sarasin's New Energies Invest AG and served on the UK Government's Renewables Advisory Board from 2002-2006. He chairs SolarAid, the charity set up by Solarcentury Holdings Ltd. Jeremy Leggett has been described by Time Magazine as 'one of the key players in putting the climate issue on the world agenda.'

On 22 February 2007 Ms Cramer was appointed Minister of the Environment and Spatial Planning in the fourth Balkenende government. Previously, Ms Cramer was a crown-appointed member of the Social and Economic Council, a member of the supervisory board of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), the University of Maastricht and Arnhem-Nijmegen University, the Council for Transport, Public Works and Water Management, the Council for Environmental and Nature Conservation Research and the supervisory committee of the National Institute of Public Health and the Environment and chair of the Residents and Sustainable Construction Forum; and a member of the supervisory boards of Shell Nederland, ASN Bank, and the Netherlands Development Finance Company (FMO). She has held professorships at Erasmus University, the University of Utrecht's Copernicus Institute, the University of Amsterdam and the University of Tilburg.

Sabine U. Dietrich is Vice President Remediation Management Operations for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. Based out of BP's corporate headquarters in Sunbury/London, she is accountable for managing the environmental liabilities of the BP Group across all businesses in these regions. She is also a Director of BP Oil Llandarcy Refinery Limited and part of BP's Group Leadership. Sabine holds a degree in Engineering Science from the Technical University of Berlin and is a Chartered Architect. Prior to this she certified in a Commercial Apprenticeship and completed her A-levels at evening classes while working. She established a business before accepting the role of Company Architect with "Steigenberger", a German Luxury Hotel Group, at the end of the 80's. Having joined BP in 1991, Sabine held various management positions in the company including HR and Performance Management. She was then appointed into to Senior Management roles including Marketing Manager, Asset Manager, Commercial Manager and Deputy Business Unit Leader. Sabine was also the first female member of the German Leadership Team. Her business and advisory experience includes the integration of companies, developing strategic alliances, designing innovation projects in emerging countries, business development as well as running operating businesses. Sabine has a diverse experience in living and working in countries across Europe, Asia and India and with managing staff all over the globe. Sabine has attended senior management programs, including Wharton and JMW. She was a Member of the European Women's Management Development Network (EWMD) before moving out of Europe and is a Member of the Executive Women's Network within BP.

Robert Accarino
Robert Accarino - Director, Global Environmental Affairs, Abbott.
Bob Accarino is Director, Global Environmental Affairs for Abbott. Mr. Accarino joined Abbott in 1997. He is responsible for providing overall direction for Abbott's environmental commitment to global citizenship through policy development, strategic planning, outreach programs, and partnerships. Since November, 2006, Mr. Accarino has provided strategic advice to Chicago 2016, developing their strategy for sustainability programs designed to support Chicago's bid to win the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Before joining Abbott, Mr. Accarino was Director, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Programs for BFGoodrich's aerospace businesses. Mr. Accarino originally joined BFGoodrich in 1977 as a chemical process engineer. He moved into the environmental field in 1980 and advanced into increasing responsible positions within BFGoodrich's EHS organization. Mr. Accarino received a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering/Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1977. In 1988, he received a law degree (J.D.) from the University of Akron. He is Chairman of the Board of the Global Environmental Management Initiative (GEMI), and a Board member of the World Environment Center and Keep Chicago Beautiful. He has two children, Alison and Brad and resides in Evanston, Illinois with his wife SunJu.
Richard Crowther
Energy Efficiency Manager. The Coca-Cola Company.
Richard Crowther has strategic responsibility for improving the energy efficiency of the nearly 1,000 Coca-Cola System production facilities spread over more than 200 countries. His current projects support the Company climate protection objective to 'Grow the business without growing the carbon.' Richard has nearly two decades of diverse experience in the energy efficiency field and is familiar with all aspects of the industry from supply planning and demand reduction to full outsourcing of utility services. His previous employment experience includes work with both natural gas and electric power utilities, as well as central utility plant project development with York International, a global provider of HVAC equipment. He has a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering Degree from Auburn University along with a Masters of Business Administration from Georgia State University and is a Registered Profession Engineer, Certified Energy Manager and Certified Cogeneration Professional.
Dr. Gernot C. Wagner

Dr. Gernot C. Wagner was born in 1967 in Leipzig, Germany. After school, a professional training in combination with high school and his army time he studied foundry management and technology at the University Mining Academy of Freiberg in Germany. After the changes in East Germany he finished his studies with a diploma work in Chicago at the Simpson Technology Group. Until 1993 he was working for Simpson with the power of attorney in Asia and South Europe and established a new branch in Germany. He was granted a scholarship from the German Foundation for Environmental Protection (Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt) in 1994 and he finished a paper work in relation to eco balances for his first academical degree with magna cum laude in 1997. He studied MBA at the open university in Hagen, Germany for 4 years as evening studies without final tests to update the knowledge in economics due to the economical and political transition during his first studies. He worked beside for a Belgium based company Project Development and Engineering NV and Natural Ressource Group in USA. After this time he worked for a German based company, the International Transfer Center for Environmental Sound Technologies with target markets in Asia, Eastern Europe and CIS countries and Middle East. From 1998 until 2001 he was the Managing Director of the company Maxicom Euro Asia Business Center with the task to consult companies in Eastern European countries, Asia and CIS countries and to settle business and offices in Germany and Western Europe. He founded several companies which work in the field of project development of industrial investment projects in the former socialist countries especially CIS countries, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Cuba and Arabic and African countries. Since 2002 he is consultant for investments for the government in Vietnam. The projects are mainly in areas like resources and resource processing, chemical industry, construction materials and infrastructure projects, such as power plants, energy distribution, mobile telecommunication and highways. He is the initiator of investment funds for such type of projects.

Johan van de Gronden
C.E.O. - World Wide Fund for Nature (Dutch branch).
Every 6th family in the Netherlands supports the work
of WWF, making it the largest environmental charity in
the country with 935.000 financial supporters. Before
joining WWF in 2006 Johan primarily worked in
development aid positions at home and abroad. He
served for the Dutch Foreign Service in Paramaribo
and The Hague. He ran an international procurement
operation in Johannesburg, served as Deputy Director
of UNDP's Nordic Office in Copenhagen and was
a member of the Board of Directors of SNV - Netherlands
Development Organisation. Johan holds a Masters in
Philosophy from Leyden University.
