In 2010, the German based Pharmaceutical Company, Vetter Pharma, a global leader in aseptic contract filling, based in Ravensburg for over 25 years, opened a new bottling plant in Skokie, Illinois in the USA.
Vetter Pharma, a client of HPC, required assistance in setting up their US operations and dealing with their environmental issues including waste disposal, hazardous substance storage, US and European labelling enforcements, arranging appropriate permits and licences and training for the use of respiration masks during cleaning operations. To provide this support Vetter Pharma appointed HPC AG, together with Inogen Associate Antea USA.
With the assistance from HPC and Antea USA the new Vetter Pharma plant successfully opened in 2010 and has been in full operation and legally compliant with all EHS regulations in the US and the state of Illinois, satisfying all of Vetter’s key stakeholders.
In autumn 2012, HPC and Antea USA are expecting to be assisting Vetter further with support in relation to Vetter’s EHS certification process.
HPC would particularly like to thank and acknowledge Karen Auld from Antea USA, for her professional support in working on this project, benefiting from her experience in the pharmaceutical industry,
