Inogen WorldView® Conference in Brazil to Focus on Oil & Gas Assets
Rotterdam, The Netherlands. January 22, 2010 - The 16th Inogen WorldView® Conferece will set the stage for energy industry experts to provide practical and tangible lessons on how to enhance the value of oil and gas assets through sound environmental, safety, engineering and socio-economic practices. Mr. Thierry Pilenko, CEO of Technip - a world leader in engineering, technology and project management for the oil and gas industry operating in subsea, offshore and onshore segments - will be honored as the conference Key Note Speaker. Additional speaker guests will include Mark Serwinowski, CEO of MetaVu, Inc., Dr. Bulent Inanc, Deputy General Manager of BOTAS International Limited and Paulo Roberto Dos Santos Carvalho, Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Manager of Repsol Brasil S.A.
The Inogen WorldView® Conference will take place at the Sheraton Barra Hotel & Suites in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 15 April, 2010. The conference location and timing were strategically planned to follow the Society of Petroleum Engineers International Conference on Health, Safety and Environment occurring 12-14, April 2010. "As a client-aligned organization and with many oil and gas industry clients, it makes great sense to host our spring conference in Rio where a large oil and gas audience is congregating," says Peter Penning, CEO of Inogen Environmental Alliance. "In addition, as international standards for environmental and social performance continue to evolve, we felt that this was the perfect opportunity for Inogen to showcase our industry leadership and provide a compelling agenda and high-profile speakers that will resonate with that oil and gas audience."
The day long agenda will be split into two sessions: A morning session focused on creating value through corporate social responsibility, and an afternoon session focused on practical applications and project case studies. The interactive conference format will allow attendees to ask questions and receive actionable information, understand competitive advantages from oil and gas industry benchmarking perspectives and connect with peers in a casual, thought-leading learning environment.
