  Inogen Unveils Global
Practice Standards™ In Mexico City

4 April 2005
Inogen Worldview Conference
Mexico City, Mexico

Inogen has further advanced its delivery capabilities today through the formal deployment of Global Practice Standards. These Standards further enable Inogen to work as one in meeting or exceeding client expectations for multinational environmental, health and safety (EHS) consulting assignments.

Global Practice Standards formally establish reliable and efficient EHS business processes that have been constructed from the best methodologies and collective experience of the organizations global membership.

Brian Jacot, Chair of Inogen's Global Practice Standards Committee said "These Standards represent a significant differentiator for our organization. We have leveraged the global perspective, experience and proven methodologies of our membership to deliver clients tangible, "best-in-class" management process and tools accessible only through the Inogen Environmental Alliance".

A feature of the Mexico City unveiling was Inogen's new EHS Due Diligence/Assessment Global Practice Standard. This new Standard provides a systematic process for conducting EHS Due Diligence/Assessment regardless of jurisdiction or geography. Key elements of the offering include:

A defined and defensible business process, roles and responsibilities and minimum reporting requirements;

An EHS Due Diligence/Assessment Protocol that includes considerations that have relevance globally, while accommodating local legal obligations, relevant conventions and standards;
A complete innovative web-based due diligence management system; and

Built in flexibility that allows complete custom configuration for each client assignment.

Furthermore, Inogen constructed this Standard in conformance with the globally recognized due diligence requirements set forth by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO 14015:2001 (E), "Environmental Management - Environmental Assessment of Sites and Organizations").
