Incident Management
The reporting of incidents, near misses, identification of root causes and implementation of corrective actions are key factors in preventing the recurrence of incidents and improvement of our overall program. This includes incidents involving injuries and illnesses, environmental or security. This element allows for incident management tracking world-wide.
Establish a process that defines and continually recognizes the applicable regulations, client requests and internal standards for reporting and tracking of incidents.
Ensure that all incidents are appropriately reported and documented.
Clearly identify the root cause(s) of all incidents.
Implement appropriate corrective actions to address the root cause(s) and prevent a similar recurrence in the future.
Periodic review by senior management of root causes and incident trends and establish initiatives for continuous improvement.
