Delta-Simons has been awarded the contract for assessing environmental compliance and liability for Acteon Group which currently has 88 facilities around the world. Work will be delivered through Inogen Associates using local expertise. Countries represented by Acteon Group include USA, UK, Brazil, Australia, China, Indonesia, UAE, Qatar, Norway, Singapore, Malaysia and Germany.
Acteon Group provides specialist sub-sea services to the offshore oil and gas industry. Delta-Simons has already begun an initial risk screening process to assess environmental compliance and liability and additional stages of work will be carried out on sites deemed potentially high risk. Environmental Risk Question-naires were submitted to the majority of the sites within the Acteon Portfolio. Responses have been analysed and recom-mendations made for further work on over 20 facilities around the world that are deemed to require an Environmental Compliance Audit or a Phase 1 Desk Top Review (or in some cases a combination of both). Delta-Simons will co-ordinate fieldwork and reporting with Inogen Associates, ensuring both consistency of format and content, as well as considering input from local regulatory and best practice perspective.
Following the completion of this phase of work, Delta-Simons will be advising Acteon on long term risk management strategies for environmental compliance, augmenting the Company's existing health and safety management systems.
The environmental compliance register and the on-going risk management systems will be presented using Delta-Simons Ventura™ web platform, which proved to be a key differentiator in winning the project.
"We are pleased that Delta-Simon's is assisting us in managing environmental compliance and performance across our site portfolio. Their technical expertise coupled with the Ventura™ risk management system provided a unique offering in the market"
